Madhya Pradesh- A Fantastico State of Celebration
From the last 10 years, we were staying in Madhya Pradesh and it was fantastico experience in our life. Being from the army family, we used to travel across the India from one state to another. Living somewhere for 3 years and suddenly moving to a new place was sometimes cheerless. It was disheartening to leave your friends and near ones. But as we all know, life is all about accepting change, moving on and be strong enough to enjoy the journey of life. In these 10 years, we traveled to different cities of Madhya Pradesh. Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Ujjain, every city of Madhya Pradesh has something common, which we have noticed in past 10 years. It would surprise you to know that every small festival is celebrated in MP with great enthusiasm.
"MP Ajab hai, Sabse Gajab hai".
Festival of Ganesh Chaturthi Puja & Durga Puja: Both these festivals are celebrated delightedly all over the India. We have traveled through different states of India and celebrated Ganesh Puja & Durga Puja in other states, but never seen any state celebrating festival so loud and bright. For the first time I saw the whole city is decorated with lights, flowers, and thousands of Ganesh Ji & Durga Mata Idols were placed in every short distance. From morning to next morning roads are flooded with the crowd. People used to enjoy these festivals walking on their foot and hang out overnight to capture every moment.
Large number of bands: There are a variety of bands available here for different function. The popular Shayam Band is also from Jabalpur who has performed in India's Got Talent Tv show and was complimented by all three judges. On the other hand, there is different sound played by band according to different functions.
Narmada Jyanti: This festival is celebrated in different states but in Madhya Pradesh it was celebrated in some different way. There are a variety of festivals celebrated in MP. You will be amazed to hear a band playing music every evening and there is a different festival everyday.
Celebration of every small festival: Since we are living in Madhya Pradesh from past 10 years, and it is an amazing feeling to see how these native people celebrate each and every small festival in a very nice way.
It has been fantastico journey of staying here and I think you should visit this beautiful state once in a lifetime.
