1.PASHUPATINATH TEMPLE, NEPAL
Pashupatinath temple is the oldest Hindu temple located at the bank of holy river Bagmati which flows through Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. According to legends, Lord Siva once took the form of an antelope and sported at the bank of Bagmati river. The other gods caught him and forced him to resume his divine form. This temple was built where his horn was worshipped as linga. The major festival of the temple is "MAHASIVRATRI" on which day 700000 visitors come to visit this incredible place. Only Hindu visitors are allowed inside the temple and a special place known as "Beautiful " for non-Hindus to see the MahaAarti of the temple.

It was my recent journey to New Delhi for some official work. It was a couple of weekends ago, and I decided to visit the capital of India with my husband & parents. We all wanted to visit India gate very much because many of my friends told me about  how beautiful and wonderful that place is. So finally we booked our train ticket from Jabalpur to New Delhi in Third Class AC Coach and the fare for one person is Rs 1300/- with internet charges, booked a hotel packed our bags and our trip began. We reached the station at 6 pm as our train is at 6.15pm from Jabalpur station. Our train came at time and we reached New Delhi in morning at 11.40am. We booked our taxi from prepaid taxi counter and reached our hotel- INOVA RESIDENCY which we had booked from Oyo Rooms online. We took rest, had a bath, tasty lunch in a hotel and went to market in the evening for shopping. Next day after completing our work we reached Bus stand which was at a walking distance from the hotel and we picked bus no. 610 to reach India Gate and it took only 10mins to reach there.

Narmada river is the largest river in the Madhya Pradesh flowing towards the west and falling in the Arabian sea.Bragi Dam is one of the first completed dam o the Narmada river in Madhya Pradesh.Bargi Dam and Avantibai Lodhi Sagar are the two major irrigation projects.The total length of Narmada river is 1312 km.
The Dam construction work started in 1974 and was completed in 1990.Currently only 90 MW is being generated in Hydropower Generation plant.The height of the Dam is 69 m and the length 5.4 km.A lake of about 75 km in length and 4.5 km width.

Nohsngithiang falls also known as the seven sisters waterfalls or Mawsmai falls,these falls have seven streams falling from the same source resulting in a truly wonderful waterfall.It is a seven segmented waterfall located 1 kilometre south of Mawsmai village in East Khasi Hills district in the Indian state of Meghalaya.The fall measure 315 metres and has an average width of 70 metres making it one of the tallest waterfalls in India.The best time to visit during sun rise and sunset when the falls looks more stunning.

Longest Natural Urban Beach- Marina Beach(Chennai)


Marina Beach is the longest beach in India.It is covered with glittering golden  sand and a clear strip of blue sea and is among the most magnificent beaches in India.It is a natural urban beach in the city of chennai,along the Bay of Bengal part of the Indian ocean.It is the longest natural urban beach in the country and the world's eleventh longest.The beach runs from near Fort St. George in the north to Besant Nagar in the south a distance of 13km.The average width of the beach is 300m.Bathing and swimming at the Marina Beach are legally prohibited beacuse of the dangers as the undercurrent is very turbulent.It is the most crowded beach in the country and attracts about 30,000 visitors a day during weekends.

    It is the biggest lake in the Madhya Pradesh region.Upper Lake lies on the western side of the capital city of Madhya Pradesh ,Bhopal.Bhopal is named as the 'The City of Lakes'.The two beautiful lakes' Upper Lake'  and 'Lower Lake'.They are considered as a major source of drinkable water for the residents of the city.
    These two lakes are separated from each other by an over bridge called Pul Pukhta.It is locally known as Bada Talaab.In hindi is known as' Bhojtal'



    Citadel of Qaitbay

    The Fort of Qaitbay or the Citadel of Qaitbay is situated on the eastern side of the northen tip of Pharos island at the mouth of the eastern harbour.It was erected on the exact side of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria which was seven wonders of the ancient world.It was established by Sultan Al Ashraf Sayf al-Din Qa'it Bay.It is one of the most defensive strongholds not only in Egypt but also along the Mediterranean sea coast.The Lighthouse is continued to function until the time of Arab then several disasters happened and the shape of the lighthouse was changed to some extent,but it still continue to function.During the 11th century an earthquake destroyed the top of the Lighthouse and the bottom was used as the watchtower.

    Ras el bar beach is very beautiful beach.It means "Head of Head".It is located at Mediterranean sea at the mouth of the Damietta river,a distributary of the neil river.It is a resort city in the northeast egypt.About  25,000 permanent residents in the city.From july to september the summer season it is a holiday season ,the population increases 2,00,000.Ras el bar has been called many names since Pharaohs.The Pharaohs called it Mediterranean sea and then Romans called it "The Romans Sea".The beautiful spot where sea could meet a river was called "Be Tamosh" and it is the place between two waves or two seas.
