Fantastico Experience Of Watching Live Cricket At The Raipur Stadium

My Father is a big fan of Cricket. Even I love to watch cricket telecast on Television. But it was a dream of my father to watch cricket live at the stadium and we too are hoping to get the chance to watch cricket live. Me and my sister, we both were planning to give surprise to our father. We started searching online for the nearest stadium to our city and finally we booked hotel and train ticket to reach Raipur. On 11th May 2015, we reached Raipur and we communicated with one of my friend staying there to arrange Taxi and all other important things. 

On the way to the stadium, the excitement of watching IPL cricket match live had reached to its peak. But after reaching up to some distance, we were diverted by traffic police due to heavy traffic during evening time. The match was going to begin in a few mins and we were still stuck in traffic. That moment we felt disheartened as the first half was already started. After one hour of struggle, we were finally at the Stadium.

Now it's time for trying hard to get the ticket, we were eagerly waiting to sit on our seat and watch our favorite players. Finally, we were with our tickets and the day come for which we all were most awaited of. My father's face was filled with joy and cheer. I have never seen him so happy.

As soon as we entered, I was amazed to see the bright and loud atmosphere of the stadium. The match was between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Dare Devils and we were there to support the team of Dhoni. The Stadium was flooded with the crowd and we were enjoying every moment there.

MS Dhoni was batting and seeing him was an amazing experience itself. People were supporting their respective teams and loud music was playing in every interval. Cheer girls are dancing in front of us and seeing them was full of entertainment. No moment was less rorty than another. The title song was played in every six, fours, catch and crowd too was making loud music. 

It was a dream come true to watch  MS Dhoni, Dwayne Bravo, Suresh Raina and other legendary players. There was free refreshment with our ticket and after the first half, we went canteen to get our refreshment. 

The target was not big enough for DD to chase, but still there was excitement to watch cricket up to the last moment. We were biting our nails in every ball of the last over. Finally, the results are in front of us and our team had lost the game.

However results were not in our favor but our overall experience can be described in one word- Fantastico.
