IMMORTALS
Sachin.........Sachin......for the world it's just only a name but for each and every Indian among all over the world no matters what's their cast, religion or age, it's not just a name. It is the heart beats of every Indian for more than two decades.
He is our superhero, the cause of this single name cricket is our religion and Sachin is our God.
It's only a myth that time never stops for anyone. Time stands frozen in front of Sachin Tendulkar; when he was at beyond 90 scores, at that time whole India stand still, streets vacant, offices shut down, crises of students in the classrooms and the production rate faced the downfall; every single eye on the Sachin and t.v sets surrounded by the crowds, blood pressure at the top. Million of Prayers started for his century at that time, every Indian wish nothing but only Sachin's century.
What a feeling! I got the goose bumps just imagining that whole scene.
And when Sachin succeed to put a ton, then that day likes national holiday for every Indian. People celebrate, a lot of fireworks and sweets distribution.
But if Sachin fails to a ton and became nervous ninety at that movement a millions of hearts broke down, tears in the eyes,people's broke their tv sets and feels like a massive weight on the mind.
That's the impact of this Little Master on our lives for more than two decades. A true national hero and also the nation's pride.
Each and every time because of Sachin, nation feels pride and owner. A lot of incidences give the evidence for the same. Let me remember some of them.
Once The Honourable Americas president Barack Obama said that" I was not knowing about cricket, but I still watch Sachin Tendulkar playing cricket. Not because I love his play, its because I want to know the reason why my country production goes down 5% when he is batting".
Amitabh Bachchan -" I have delayed my shoots many times to watch Sachin bat".
Arjuna Ranatunga- "You get him out and half the battle is won".
Mattew Hayden- "I have seen God. He bats for India at no 4 in tests".
Time Magazine-"We have had champions, we have had legends, but we have never had another Sachin Tendulkar and we never will".
These are the fantastico examples of his greatness, no one can measure his contribution to us and the nation. He carried the burden of the nation for more than two decades. The joy he brings to the millions of countryman, the grace with which he handles the pressure and the expectations and his innate humility; all make for a one in a billion individual. We are privileged, he played in our time and we are most fortunate to have that fantastico personality in the whole world.
Cricketers like Sachin come once in a lifetime. He has a great impact on youngsters. Not only we Indians loves Sachin, the whole world gives respect to him and every opponent wants him to hit few runs only to see him batting. With one word I can sum up all his qualities is just- "Fantastico".
